I have to go back to work today after a week of baby-land. I remember right after Maureen's birth, work was a hard thing to get my head around for the first week. Good news is that we have this Friday off for the 4th so I get eased back into the machine.
Rowan is doing well - he had his first check-up yesterday and he got good reports. We also got some helpful tips (pun intended) on treating his circumcision wound a little better.
Thanks goes out to the friends and family who helped out by keeping Maureen occupied through the week, and for the food and nice presents that were sent. I think we're going to make it! Have a great week - I hope to be writing more soon.

I love Maureen and the tiger!!! Would it be possible to get a copy of that? Good report on Rowan is good news. He is such a beauty. None of the pictures on the web do him justice. He is far prettier in 'real life'. Keep up the good work, Mom and Pop. Love from the great grandma!
We'll get you a copy of the picture. I believe either Karen or Carrie shot the pic when they took Maureen to the zoo on Monday.
